As for down vs. up the aisle, intriguing question. Maybe whomever invented it figured down sounded easier. Now I’m imagining a slip and slide….

It looked better on you than it does on the model. Just saying.

Anyway, as gorgeous as this dress is, it cannot compare to the showstopper you found at DB’s. You have always been so good at finding the right thing, and always at the right price to boot. I can’t imagine why we would have thought the dress would be any different. Can’t wait to see it (and you!) do that regal walk down the aisle. An added note: why is it “down the aisle”? why not “up the aisle”?

You know it’s funny, they all have boobs which I’m sure take some management, (though honestly, how would I know?) but the strapless is really flattering. I saw it modeled and there’s something about the shape and the pleats that works. It is awesome, but mysterious.

i’m not surprised that you love this - the bride is wearing flats!!
re: the bridesmaid dresses - if any of your b-maids have boobs, you might want to go with straps. strapless dresses always make think of that “price is right” where the next contestant ran down in her tube top and it capsized. v. scary.

Pretty- I like the waist defining bands on the strapless one. I kind of wish the one with straps had those too, but you could always add a sash (maybe in persimmon or marigold?). Let’s talk soon! How about Wednesday night?

You know, keeping with the overall theme of I’ve-been-wrong-about-everything (except the color!) regarding my attire, birdcage veils look great…on other people. It’s just too much fuss right near my face.

I also do not endeavor to have leaves in my bouquet, but the colors are good.
