| How did you meet? |
We met through friends in 2001 - my best friend was close to his best friend, and one day we all met up and went to the movies. There were no sparks initially, but after a few weeks I was gone; butterflies in my stomach, the whole bit! |
| How was the proposal? |
We were together for about six years and we weren’t in a rush - I’d been studying and we’d moved cities a couple of times for work, so we always had a lot going on. Then all of my friends started getting married, and I began thinking, this could be nice… and he caught on to my subtle hints, and booked a surprise weekend at a 5 star hotel. He proposed in the room with champagne and strawberries, and we had a brilliant weekend enjoying the executive club and 5-star services. It was amazing and lovely and romantic! |
| What's your wedding (going to be) like? |
We have around 120 people coming - a mix of family and friends. We’re having the ceremony and wedding at a vineyard, so it will have a nice relaxed garden feel to it. |
