My cousin recently had a small, intimate wedding with around 20 guests. We attended, and we gave them a small gift, even though it was a very rushed affair (they’d known each other only 3 months - and got married at a week’s notice!)

Now, there’s having a ”wedding party” to celebrate with their wider circle of friends and family. We’ve been invited again - and they’ve included a note about ”not needing any gifts as we have everything we need, but money would be greatly appreciate in the wishing well”.

That seems a bit tacky to me?! I wouldn’t presume that people will bring a gift to a wedding party - particularly not those people who have already given a gift?

Maybe I’m just old fashioned..
