Thanks! I think it turned out really well. We’re still looking for wedding rings… I’m getting enamored with the idea of a simple steel band. I’m not a flashy guy, so I appreciate the understatement of the metal.

Our ring shopping was super simple - my fiance found my engagement ring in just one shopping expedition, and we found both of our wedding rings at the first jeweler we visited, about six months ago. Phew, one more thing to cross off the list…

The ring-shopping process was a bit of an Odyssey. It took four months, but the result is so worth it. I ended up getting for her a platinum, solitair ring with a hybrid bevel/prong set. The real innovative part is that the ring doesn’t quite come together under the diamond, but instead branches upwards to meet the bevel. I think it does wonders for the light that gets to the diamond.
